“The main message I want my art to communicate to viewers is that the media is fake, and it shouldn't control the way we look or feel about ourselves.

Growing up around social media it has always influenced me and my friends. There has definitely been a time when we don't wear certain things because it won't look like the pictures, but when does it ever.

I really enjoyed making these pieces this year. I love being able to use bright colours to express myself and I feel like I got to do just that.”
