“I create my art with the intent of portraying messages of open-mindedness in regard to new ideas or concepts introduced to us in everyday life culturally and/or humanely. I also attempt to delve into the recurring theme of challenging ourselves and embracing challenges.

I am a spontaneous, open-minded, level-headed young woman and I love creating art which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also speaks volumes in regard to cultural, social or political issues. As a young Maori/Dutch woman, culture is really significant and travel is a huge part of my life as I have family from opposite sides of the world so this is something which I love to incorporate into my work.”
