    Mae Brown

My abstract art pieces can have different meanings for different viewers but I try to capture an emotion in my use of colour and brush strokes. My inspiration for my paintings is based on my life and what is happening around me. When I was younger I had a very short fuse so I got picked on a lot at primary school. I would draw a lot at break time and would do some sneaky sketches during class. Art has always been a close companion of mine ever since I could remember. My biggest influences are Gustav Klimt, Jackson Pollock."
